We’ve polished up the landmark feature, putting them in a more logical order. This is a huge timesaver that makes the whole scanning process smoother and more efficient. 

Texture Capture: 

Texture capture just got a major boost! You’ll notice a big difference in scan quality, with more detail and a sharper finish on every scan. 

Better Scan Session Organization: 

Sessions are now automatically organized into an application data folder for each user. This optimization prevents automated cloud-based backup services, such as OneDrive, from inundating your cloud storage, ensuring smoother operation. 

Brand-New Features: 

Watertight Mesh: 

Building on our commitment to user convenience, we’ve introduced a new feature that allows users to fill in all holes in their scans with a single operation. This time-saving functionality can be accessed within the “Tools” section of the software. 

Fill to Plane: 

Need to extend your scan data? Just swipe, and you can fill shape data to a plane with a flick of your finger. It’s all about precision and control. 

Smooth Edges: 

A new “Smooth Edges” button lets you refine your scan edges in one go, making hole filling even cleaner. It’s a simple yet powerful tool for getting those polished, professional results. 

Pairs Support: 

Luma 3.0 introduces pairs support, making it super easy to track bilateral scans—perfect for working on insoles or leg/foot orthotics. Less hassle, more productivity. 

Multi-User Support: 

We’ve streamlined the setup process for practitioners sharing computers. Luma now supports multi-user installations, so everyone can get up and running without the usual tech headaches.
